President Corner

The Emily, Outing, & Fifty Lakes Lions Club was chartered in 1982. Our club represents over 40 years of service to this community and has donated over 1.4 million dollars to our youth and community needs. Our mission is to empower volunteers to serve our community, actively support our youth and strive to meet our community humanitarian needs.

As you can see on our “Event” page, our Club is very active. The money to support our mission is raised through our fundraisers. One hundred percent of the funds raised from these fundraisers are used to support our mission and Lions projects such as the Minnesota Lions Eye Bank, Minnesota Lions Hearing Foundation, Lions Leader Dog Program, Minnesota Diabetes Foundation, Project New Hope and many others. Local, District and International administration expenses are supported entirely by Club members.

Our members enjoy a great deal of satisfaction from knowing that we do make a difference in the lives of people of our community and we have fun doing it. In addition to our service projects and fundraisers, we have a dinner meeting every month and several club socials during the year.

We are very appreciative of the fantastic support from our business community, residents, vacationers, and weekenders. Because of their support, we can continue to make a difference.

If you are interested in joining a very active, fun service club, the Lakers Lions is the place to be. Please refer to the “Contact Us” page for names, phone numbers and email addresses of Lions who can provide you with the details of membership.
